Meio ambiental natural e artificial : interfaces com o meio ambiente carcerário no aprisionamento de mulheres no Brasil

Abstract

The present work, based on feminist criminology, will have as its general objective to evaluate if the ecologically balanced environment, guaranteed to all by the Federal Constitution, is within reach of women subjected to deprivation of liberty, and impacts on the health and social reintegration of prey. To this end, field research will be done by bibliographic survey and analysis of relevant national and international legislation. A qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory approach is used. The central problem of the study will then be: Is the ecologically balanced environment guaranteed to imprisoned women? It was concluded, in the end, that female incarceration is even more devastating than males due to invisibility and the specific conditions of the female sex that is continuously ignored. The non-fulfillment of the right to an ecologically balanced environment in prisons affect the health and social reintegration of incarcerated women, in addition to violating the dignity of the human person drastically.
