Da tutela à gestão do patrimônio cultural na RMBS : desafios e perspectivas à política de preservação

Abstract

This dissertation addresses the interaction between the preservation policy and the management of cultural heritage in the territory of the Metropolitan Region of Baixada Santista (RMBS). The investigation begins with the search for notions of cultural heritage in the region, which historically built concepts and interaction. It is believed that the new concept of cultural heritage can be undertaken, heritage redefined in light of current changes, playing a decisive role in the social construction of a heritage that urgently needs to be preserved. From The Theoretical Investigation, we seek a focus on legal instruments in order to assist in the identification, interpretation, preservation and management of cultural heritage with emphasis on symbolic values and territorial relations. It's The Place Of Heritage in fundamental law. In this context, believing that the oblivion of the good or posthumous activation is perhaps more important than memory, a careful look at the memory of the studied territory is adopted, focusing on the aspect of temporality of heritage, on the activation of society, elucidating shared values. The study elaborated analyze the challenges and perspectives for the preservation policy in the RMBS and considers proposals for the insertion of democratic policies in thereof cultural heritage and creation of public policy articulated in the management of cultural heritage and in the protection of the environment as a resource for sustainable development.
