Saúde mental dos trabalhadores-docentes de uma prefeitura da baixada santista : um estudo bibliográfico à luz da teoria psicodinâmica do trabalho

Abstract

The bibliographic research aimed to analyze articles that deal with the study of the mental health of public elementary school teachers. In principle, the text establishes the scenario of the researcher's professional trajectory in the Department of People Management and Work Environment of a Municipality of the Santos Lowlands, moving on to the theoretical analysis related to workers' health based on the writings of the French physician Christophe Dejours, who studied psychopathologies and psychodynamics, reference in the subject. Moving on to the description of the research methodology and analysis of the texts in the light of the psychopathology of work. The analysis of the texts reveals the intense emotional and mental load faced by the teachers in the exercise of their work activities. The constant exposure to stressful situations, work overload and the demand for greater emotional investment result in a picture of mental exhaustion, where the meaning of the work is lost and the teachers are affected by a variety of symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and dissatisfaction.
