Educação permanente em saúde : desinstitucionalizando o olhar sobre a saúde mental a partir da criação artística

Abstract

This academic research aims to investigate the contribution of Psychology in practices in Permanent Health Education (PHE), more specifically in the Mental Health area, seeking to understand the performance of public policies that conduct the National Policy on Permanent Education in Health (NPPEH), as well as the contribution of the notion of "Quadrilateral" – a concept that was developed by Ceccim (2005) – and of existential phenomenology in PHE research. For this conversation, we present existential phenomenology as a way of understanding and seeing health care relations. Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA), as a methodological choice, has proved to be aligned with the research precisely because it approaches phenomenology in the sense of suspending a priori certainties and enabling the emergence of new understandings about the phenomena studied. The data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews using the Zoom platform, with two professionals at the forefront of Mental Health services. Data analysis from the ATD follows the steps: 1st Corpus Definition, 2nd Unitarization, 3rd Categorization and 4th Metatext development. It is worth noting that, in all stages of analysis, exhaustive reading is necessary for data to be impregnated. From the interview, the researcher will define the part that will be analyzed, in other words, the Corpus of the research. This choice is intuitive and must always seek to respond to its research objectives In the Unitarization stage, the researcher will deconstruct the texts in search of the words that catch his eye, thus forming the units of meaning. In the Categorization stage, the researcher will group these units, transforming them into categories of meanings that represent the meaning of the whole that the researcher managed to capture; these categories or concepts receive names, and the researcher will write some partial arguments to better explain their initial understandings. Finally, in the construction of the Metatext, the researcher will develop his initial arguments, deepening his new understandings of the investigated phenomena, this step is intuitive, descriptive, and sometimes poetic, the ATD proposes that the researcher assumes an active and authorial role, aware of his choices and decisions throughout the research process. The results that emerged in our Metatext were based on the categories Work and Care, revealing that care is present in all human relationships, thus, the work developed by the health professional must have humanized care as a fundamental practice.
